Matthew Haworth joined the family business during the summer of 1983 with a job in manufacturing. In 1991, Haworth started with the company full-time and began his career working at dealerships in Seattle, Washington, and Washington, DC. Later, he joined the sales team in Atlanta and has since held a wide variety of roles in marketing, manufacturing, planning, and purchasing. As Chairman, Haworth has overseen the company’s acquisition of a range of brands to support global business and individual priorities. Haworth Commercial Interiors provide flexibility to businesses and spaces as needs change. Haworth residential brands provide rich interiors for homes, hospitality, transportation, outdoor, and retail spaces. Bluescape, the technology focused brand, provides collaborative software that enables teams to co-create regardless of geographic and time constraints.
SENIOR WORKPLACE STRATEGIST
With 23+ years in the industry, John has extensive workplace design experience with a wide range of client and project types. Working with prominent A&D firms in the Midwest, he developed strong expertise in the areas of workplace strategy, organizational culture, and design development. As a knowledge leader on Haworth’s Ideation team, John’s focus is on the translation of workplace research into conceptual design recommendations. In his role, helps clients understand the linkages between design and business performance. He collaborates with them to explore how new ways of working impact cultural and organizational change.

ADVANCED RESEARCH & INSIGHTS MANAGER
Marta Wassenaar, with more than 2½ decades of contract furniture sales and marketing, is now working with Haworth’s Global Design and Innovation team leading Advance Research and Insights into Haworth’s early stage R&D. She began her career with Haworth in 1992. During her experiences at Haworth, Marta has worked in a variety of roles to include product development, market research, product line management, and sales.

As Global Brand Director, he leads the strategic alignment of the Haworth brand across sectors and among subsidiaries. With more than thirty years in the industry, and experience in all facets of the business, Kurt serves as a conduit for connecting the brand, marketing, and design functions of the organization—with the goal of bringing value to Haworth’s customers. DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL DESIGN, INNOVATION, AND SUSTAINABILITY
Dominic joined Haworth in January 2014 and as of September 2019 he accepted the role of Global Innovation, Design and Sustainability Director (GIDS). In his new role he focuses on strategy and planning of the development pipeline, new product development productivity, technology and process scouting, supports development of robust concepts with sound business plans and sustainability team leadership.

Eric joined Haworth in 2015 to establish the Client Design Studio. Eric graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BS degree in Industrial Design. He has worked in the automotive industry focusing exclusively on interior design and in other consumer-based industries including contract furniture. Eric is passionate about finding ways to innovate within the context of a project. He enjoys leading cross functional teams to produce their best work. He thrives on facilitating the design process in partnership with our leading customers.

WORKSYSTEMS DIRECTOR
Kimberly has worked for Haworth since May 2014, originally joining as a Product Specialist, supporting the Systems Product Line Management team. She has worked her way up through the organization to her current role, Group Business Unit Director where she oversees the strategic direction for all existing products and new product development for Systems, Worktools and Surface Materials. Prior to joining Haworth, Kimberly worked in marketing communications and product development at two other contract furniture companies: American Seating Company and Vanerum Stelter.

Dan Tuohy has been CEO of Tuohy Furniture for 33 years. Tuohy’s purpose has been the same throughout; to provide furnishings and objects that help make people’s live more productive, more pleasing, and more measured for budget and environment. Dan graduated from the University of Loyola Rome with a degree in International Economics.

Liz has been the Principal Designer for CMF (Colors Materials and Finishes) where she leads to ensure seamless implementation and communication throughout the entire product and material design and development process. With over 30 years of experience aligning current and future product designs while considering technological advancements in materials, consumer demands, and environmental needs. The CMF team drives aesthetics, performance, manufacturability, and profitability.

Our top priority is keeping you safe. These protocols are in place to protect all of our members, clients and guests.
At this time, Haworth will only allow vaccinated individuals to travel aboard the jet. Each guest will receive a welcome pack, which includes a mask and personal hand sanitizer.
Meals are individually packaged and taken by each guest. Food and beverage servers wear gloves in addition to the required mask.

Situated in the Hotel District in Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, the JW Marriott Grand Rapids is meticulously designed for both business and pleasure. As the first JW Marriott hotel in the Midwest, the hotel offers 337 well-appointed, smoke-free rooms and suites on 23 posh floors. Each of which is outfitted with atypical amenities like a 42" LCD TV, as well as numerous other uncommon personal luxuries.
